There were some great responses to the last two videos. I appreciate those that took the time to reply.
One common thread I’m picking up from the conversations is one of urgency to get something working. Several people from what I read have recently lost jobs. Others it seams are also looking at a grim future as far as employment goes.
My advice to you is take control now and make your own plans. Don’t rely on “The Man” for you bread and butter. Take action and start an online business. If you are currently employed set a goal to double your monthly salary in 12 months or less. If you are in-between jobs hang in there. Focus your efforts and apply yourself. Things will turn a corner for you very soon.
I would love to hear more of your feedback.

@John – Great question! Yes you can do this from anywhere in the world. Everyone is a Newbie at one time… apply yourself and pretty soon the “other” guy is a newbie.

Thanks for answering my questions Joel. One thing I was wondering though was do you have some sort of support system in place after the product has been bought? Your right focus your efforts and apply yourself! On December 17th after 14 years working for a large company they gave me and my family a nice Christmas bonus and said thanks for building us a territory but were going to pay someone a lot less money and give them your territory that you built from scratch because its an “employers market”. Two weeks later my little girl was in the hospital and extremely sick and we racked up a huge medical bill. So going from making pretty decent money to none AND tallying a huge debt in almost overnight is quite a life altering event. So I guess it really does pour when it rains. So my point is not for anyone to feel sorry for me but to apply your self for YOUR SELF not for someone else. Tough tough lesson for me. So I figure I got about two months of cash left to pay bills so I got nothing but time and desire to get something going, so here I am. Thanks for listening…

You know when I look back now at the year I got laid off 3 times… it was the BEST thing that ever happened to me. At the time it seamed like the end of the world… but now looking back it got me off my hind end and was the driving force to my existing business.
This all sounds great but the big question is how do you get traffic to your sites!!

Okay, I will hang in here to watch the next video. I have to tell you that i groaned when you said affiliate marketing. I have never been successful with that. And I have to know that whatever I am referring folks to is a good product. BUT my mind tis open to learning something new so I will be back tomorrow to watch the next video.

@Karen Davis – It’s my goal to help you and others be successful with affiliate marketing. When you can make it work… it’s the ultimate business IMO.
I have heard of mini-sites before, but they fit the description of what Google hates, thin affiliate sites. Unless Google sees you updating content quite often, they will de-index them. They want authority affiliate sites, which are maintained daily. You can pick long-tail keywords and try to rank for them, but that is what most people are trying to do now.
So, like Andy mentioned, I am wondering how you will get free, targeted traffic if you are only building sites? When/how are you building traffic?
If you live in Canada or anywhere for that matter. You can get a FREE basic website setup easily and simply by going to http://www.vstore.ca I have several site in place with them and an EBAY.CA Storefront as well.
I am going to use the vstore site to create simple mini sites for my affiliate products as well.

thanks for being straight about drop shipping! You could run that hustle as many of the so-called online commerce gurus do, but you choose not to and tell all the truth about it.
I think the only way that drop shipping can really work is if you establish some personal relationship with smalltime vendors who have products that are not mass merchandised and where you don’t have to pay some parasite a fee to be part of their club!

@Marcus – You are EXACTLY right when you say Google hates “Thin Affiliate” sites. That’s why I only build REAL sites with REAL content.
Google is a big source of traffic but they are not my bread and butter. There are many OTHER ways to get laser targeted traffic to mini sites. Just building sites doesn’t get you anywhere. You have to have a traffic system that works.
@Charles – You are right on the money about drop shipping. As you can see I was pretty blunt in the video. There are a lot of these “Dropping Shipping” clubs out there that simply don’t work. In the old days when I ran a full time eBay business the only type of drop shipping that was profitable were the deals I made directly with a vendor as you mentioned.
The good thing about mini sites is you dont’ have to worry about any of that stuff.

Also, it seems to me, if you are selling ALOT OF people the ability of make ALOT OF mini websites – then there are a tillion of these out there and then how does anyone make money???? Please reply!!

How much time per month do you spend getting traffic to each site?

I have some small sites out there but like you say it take a lot to get the money really coming in.
I own a turn-key domain hosting site with unlimited space hosting.
I am really interested in learning more about your system. I’ll be checking in tomorrow for the next video.
There have been some good questions so far and you have had good answers for each. If this is truly what you say it is, wow, it will be great. Have been wanting to get started with affiliate marketing but haven’t taken the plunge. Glad to hear they are “real” sites with “real” content.
I firmly believe you have to be in this business, or ANY business to give value to others. So just to slap up sites that don’t solve any problems would be pointless (not to mention probably failures).
A few questions of my own…
- will your system/program help with niche research/selection as well as finding good affiliate products to promote?
- do the mini-sites have any capability of gathering the visitor’s email address (in return for a free report, free email mini-course, etc) before sending off to the affiliate site?
- there is so much information out there on how to do things to make money/be successful on the internet, if your system can take those of us who have suffered from all this info overload (with the consequence being no action), and set us on the straight and narrow by providing true step by step how-to’s, then you truly have a winner!

Hi Joel, I am really excited. I have been messing around with affiliate marketing fo ryears and have never gotten it right, as Tina says, there is so much information out there, it does feel like info overload sometimes as you hop from one thing to the next. But mirroring what Tina has said, will it simply be a case of referring the visitor onwards or will there be a way of capturing their details as I am now beginning to believe that the long term benefit is about having a list and having long term viability with that list?
But to be honest, if your system does what you say it does and with the right amount of effort and focus, I will certainly be there on launch day as the months get tighter and tighter and I have no more room on any of the credit cards, however, I will count my cards lucky for the time being in that the company has decided to give us a bonus, albeit at 2007 rates! At least I get one, well for the time being anyway as they have threatened possible closure if they o not get the required level of customer orders in by the end of April.
Anyway, there have been many recent products released prior to Christmas that were mini-site based, but these sold or recommended physical products, with approximately between 5 – 10 pages, so when you say a site could be many more than that I am really keen to see what you have to offer – bring on March 3rd!!!
so far so good, but I’ve been involved with mlm and learned some exspensive lessons recently, so I hope there’s more information that has real content before a bunch of money is asked for
@tina – Lots of great questions! – Yes I will teach you how to to proper research. You have complete control on what you put on your site. Opt-in, affiliate promotions…etc.

So far so good! Is there a “fee” that we haven’t been told about yet? I’ve always been skeptical about sites stating they have a fool proof system but they want you to buy their training material for a “fee”. Hope this site is different….will wait for the next video on the 26th of Feb.
Hey Joel, I am also from Canada and lost my job over a year ago and also found out that my husband will never be able to work again due to several disabilities and he also has cancer so we currently arent making alot of money and I would really be interested in knowing how to go about setting something up where I can make money and support my three children and husband without having to try and find a back breaking job that right now with our economy isnt likely going to happen so if you couold give me some direction and insight as to what to do and how to go about doing it I would be all ears. I hope you are it. You are the end result of an effort I hate to say cost me $9,800 and 5 years plus $29.95 per month at present. I have yet to make over $250 for the 5 years. We will see.

Hi, Joel I’ve been partially blind for the last 15 years and have struggled to make ends meet. During this time I’ve tried to find something to do online that I could make a living from. Everything I’ve looked at was way more that I could afford to come up with. Right now I’m living on Social Security Disability which makes it real tough to do anything on. @Charles – Hi Charles. Great to see your comment. I understand where you are coming from. Yes there will be a fee for the product. Hundreds of hours developing an top notch training system and 5 years of experience have gone into this. It will be VERY affordable.
